Separate Template Management Permission from “Share With”

Currently, the “Share with” setting in Template Center controls who can view a template, but it also affects who can manage or edit it. This causes permission confusion.
Please add a separate permission setting for managing templates, so admins or specific users can control and edit templates, while others can only view or use them.
Benefit:
Clear permission control, better template governance, and reduced risk of unauthorized template changes

Please restrict who can update templates - I am having to reset templates on a daily basis as they are getting overriden - FRUSTRATING thank you

Please make it possible to edit permissions for templates. I do not want anyone messing with a master template and overwriting it. Thank you!

It would be nice to control who can and can't edit Templates.
In a larger organization it will be difficult to tell who is making changes.

It is wild that this was requested over 4 years ago and there are still no permission restrictions around this. This is an issue for our team as well, particularly with team members creating templates. Our project management team has a process for creating templates and now we have team members disrupting that process. It would be nice to remove their ability to create templates altogether.

Limit permissions to change template name, people, tags, description, etc. Set permissions for workspace and individually by template.
For example:
- Edit all: Allow user to override template and change name, description, tags and who has access to template.
- Edit template: Allow to override template only. Can't change name, description, tags and who has access to template.
- Use: Allow user to see and apply template to locations it has access to. Can't override template or change its information.
- View only: Allow user only to see templates in the template center and duplicate it to use as new template.
