This feature is needed for when I manage projects as Tasks and not as Lists. Without this feature, I need a million subtasks to show progress, whereas if the Task bar in Gantt visualized the task progress (from the checklist) the amount of subtasks can be much reduced!!!

This feature is a must have

In my optinion, this is an absolute must-have for the management of complex projects, i.e. in construction. Would allow to replace MS Project in simpler use cases.

I am agree, the view of progress on tasks in the gantt view is a MUST for PMs
Matt Lawson
Agreed, as a PM, it is necessary to show progress on Tasks in the Gantt chart, especially when you recommend using Tasks/Subtasks as epics.

I also find this feature mandatory for an at least decent Gantt chart! I was very surprised not to find it. Furthermore sub tasks shall be also included.

This is MUCH needed. This is a very helpful feature that other platforms have

I've just discovered that this feature does not exist in ClickUp, after migrating our entire team onto the platform and spending significant time setting up all our development projects with tasks and subtasks.
This is a massive failure in a project management tool - our clients are expecting to see gantt chart views which demonstrate progress each week, and we cannot show that at all.
I see this request has been open for 2 years so I sadly don't hold out hope for having such a basic feature implemented any time soon.
What a shame I didn't pick this up earlier as we would have gone with a different tool instead of ClickUp.

Folks at Click-up. This is a showstopper. Please remember that we need to report progress. A workaround would be to let us use the progress value from the list screen as a field on the left hand side. Ideally we would like both please. A numeric value (e.g. 25%) in a column, and 25% of the bar turned green.
