Hey all! We've made an update to Form view!
Previously, you weren't able to pre-fill standard fields once a task was created from a Form submission. Now, you have the option to include Status, Assignee, Time Estimates, Tags, and Sprint Points when you set up a Form!
This way, when a Form is submitted, more information can be automatically applied to the task created!

Eric Wightman: Hi Eric, great work!
Perhaps you could check the following: As before you're able to select an assignee in the configuration on the right sidebar. If an "Assignee" field is used, should that select perhaps allow to select that field instead of a person or should that field be disbled or something similar?
Or am I only seeing this behaviour because it's an already existing form?
I think this is a minor UX bug.
Thank you!

Julian Pustkuchen: Hey there! I'm not sure I'm following what you're seeing here. The assignee field in a Form should set the assignee on the task. Can you please clarify?
Julian Pustkuchen
Eric Wightman: Thank you for your reply. I can confirm this works nearly as expected now. I had to re-add that field after the update to make that work. That was the main reason.
Regarding the minor UX problem: On the right side, when editing the form, you have a field "Assign tasks to:" which is still available when using the Assignee field.
You can't see what happens if persons are also selected there. You just can guess. So what I thought before would be nice to have a "people" field instead of assignee and add an option in the select field on the right to select "From field XXX".
That would have been clearer. Now I think it would just make sense to add a tooltip or such to explain if assignees are merged or whatever happens if you use both - the select and the assignee field.
Am I clear?

Preselected tags in forms

It would be great to be able to preselect and hide tags in a form. I use forms to prescreen candidates for different jobs. I'd like to be able to add a tag for the particular job so that when they complete the form I know what they're applying for.

Agreed! We'd love the ability to have a user provide us a time quote in hours via a form submission.

Yes, I was looking for this and surprised to see "tags" as a field is missing - custom fields is great to see, but I'd like to be able to either have a task added and have a particular tag right away, or ask the user to define the tag before allowing submission. One of my usecases is "Bug submission" where I'm using a tag to add to a task to denote it's a "bug"
Thanks guys!
