Is there any way to make sub-bullet points more distinguishable from their parent bullet points?

My entire team finds it a bit difficult to read through docs/descriptions as the sub-bullets' indentation is very short and uses the same bullet point style. Other apps use different bullet icons to easier separate. (Please see attached screenshots)
