This would be a game changer. At the moment we're having to create a new task with the appropriate naming convention and deleting the task requested in the form to achieve this. Such a messy workaround.

One would think this would be possible, or on the roadmap considering Create a Subtask in automations allows you to create a custom subtask name and bring in fields as well to make it dynamic.

Would love to see this hit Parent tasks. When we have form submissions come in, the task names are a jumbled mess. No matter what guardrails or suggestions you give anyone, you never know what you'll get when interpretation kicks in. Given that Task names are also one of the most important aspects in the system, when searching that is one of the main parameters used to deliver results, maintaining consistency equates to productivity.

This little update would make a big splash even for small teams, with larger teams I would consider this a must have.

Per the "Form view" document, when a Task Name is not provided, it will default to "Form Submission - #ZULU TIME". It would be wonderful, if we could just change the "Form Submission - " to something specifically for the form it was created on. In my case, I have multiple clients, each with their own Form. I need their Task Name to begin with their company abbreviation followed by the timestamp.

So ridiculous this isn't possible. It essentially make having a form create MORE manual work and makes your board completely disorganized without a ton of human intervention - silly!!!

This is seemingly such an obvious and simple feature to add to the platform based on the existing automation rules. I am very surprised that this wasn't just a part of the original framework when automations were rolled out. Why hasn't this been resolved yet? 🤦🏼‍♀️

PLEASE add this! I waste a lot of time renaming my tasks that are created as a result of a form submission. This takes away from the time I have to actually ACT on those items.

Yes! This is an excellent feature which is offered in Asana. When creating forms you are able to set the title of the task based off field submissions on the form vs. having all the tasks come through with a challenging title like "Form Submission - #2023-06-12T12:26:47-07:00". It makes it challenging to differentiate between task submissions. Would really like to see the ClickUp Dev team work this one into their road map. Seems like there is a fairly substantial interest from the user base.
