Not just a description, but the ability to attached files or google drive links. For instance, when you are working on a project/folder, you might want to put a client contract linked to the folder at the top level. If I can only link google docs to tasks, then it would not be easily accessible when I'm working on other tasks in the folder/task list. In other words, allow us to add docs on the higher level containers (like folders), not just tasks. And not just allow us to put them inside the folder, but attached "to" the folder.

This seems like a miss... everything should be able to have a description. Folders, Tasks, Lists, etc.

We really need some way to differentate our projects and make it esier to find clients addresses! a description would help so that I dont have to keep an external copy of it as well and it would make our projects even more organized!

this would help in accessing the information from within the dashboard easily. You just need to click on the information button to see more of a project that has been put at the level of a folder (due to its complexity).

Hi All, We are in need of this folder description or what I think would be the same enhancement would be the ability to have text fixed or streaming across the top (View area) of any folder. We need the ability to push content to the users of the folder tasks about critical communications and info we want to keep posted in front of the teams. Can you make it happen?

adding a description to the folder is great way of ensuring that the purpose of a project is always in view. Additionally it is great place to hold some critical high-level information in one place. I believe that this is a good way to ensure consistent and useful project communication.

Hi ClickUp Team, I am using clickup for the past 6 months, and we are asking the clickup team(Katie) for this feature for the last 2 weeks. Since we are handling many projects, we wanted to provide project details which helps the members to know the details of the project, without anyone's help. When multiple projects handled, remembering the details of each project may feel quite difficult and thus we decided to feed the details in the project folder itself. If the feature is included in the upcoming releases, it will be really helpful for us.
