User wants a way to make it so that only tasks with certain definable traits (like having a certain tag) will sync to Google Calendar.

Need to be able to filter by things other than assigned to me. E.g., Tags or Custom Fields.

All, this has to happen. ClickUp has become absolutely untennable without this - to the point that I'm considering moving my company to a different technology.

Bethany Hilt agreed - I'm looking for an alternative as well. lemme know if you find something with better calendar customization. Seems like a basic functionality that wouldn't be that hard to add...
For what its worth, my current workaround to this problem has been to automate moving tasks with a custom field to a specific calendar list, then they're automatically mirrored back to the original location. then we just sync that particular list calendar.
the problem is that the tasks that are moved can't be mirrored back in as subtasks, so they show up as parent tasks on the original list instead of nested in their original location - i.e. meetings get unnested. what's the point of a task management system if it's just a bunch of individual tasks with no relationships! might as well go back to microsoft planner!

yes please, if you have long time tasks its impossible to use gooogle calendar because you see a lot of rows and its not usefull.
Philippe GUERIN
really usefull to filter non-closed task only!

I would love that. Especially for approved/rejected holiday leave request, this would be a good feature. Otherwise, rejected leave requests will also be shown in the calendar and would confuse colleagues.

Yes, 100% this would be great. This would help us keep an overall calendar of big items visible to the organization while filtering out all the little subtasks.
