I am the admin for my company. I am repeatedly asked "Why are all of these (sub)tasks being displayed when I filter on xxx?". We have several custom fields with multiple values. The users want to filter on every task AND SUBTASK for a specific value in the NESTED view, not "Separate". The Separate subtask view is not nested, it is a straight line list of tasks/subtasks. Yes, we can select "Show Subtask Parent Names", but that just adds text without the nesting.

The Separate subtask view is also confusing users when they expand a task and then the subtasks are duplicated. They have attempted to deleted the "duplicated" task, thinking that it is another row. Yes, they can be trained on this, but it should be more intuitive.
