For building more informative dashboards, and also for any other view, it is useful if it is possible to filter tasks based subtasks fields, status, or other features.
Some examples:
  • Show all the tasks that HAVE/NOT HAVE any subtasks.
  • Show all the tasks that have subtasks with an active status or with status X.
One step further would be:
  • Show all the tasks that have subtasks with the Custom Field X set as Y.
