Filter for Parent Tasks with Subtasks

In custom list views, I want to be able to see subtasks but not the parent task if it has subtasks...if all my tasks have subtasks but none of the subtasks meet the criteria of the filter (i.e. no due date), I want that list to show as empty but it currently shows me all the parent tasks

I would LOVE this feature! My tasks are very large with many subtasks, and the parent task often has an overall project date range (start and finish) spanning months. I want to be able to tell my view to ignore that top level task and only display the action items beneath it.
