This is absolutely essential for us. This behavior would mimic the Dashboard widget options to toggle "Show closed" and "Show archived" on. Other views have a "Show closed" toggle, but not a "Show archived" toggle.

I really need this. I want to keep my space clean, but also, I frequently get requests for historical information from stakeholders. I really don't want to spend time unarchiving every single list in order to create a new report.

Yes please! I recently archived a bunch of completed work and don't want to have to create duplicate views for "done and archived" and "done but not yet archived" - this could also be solved by the feature of more complex filter logic (archived = true OR archived = false) AND Field = X.

I believe the best way to go about this would be to have an "Any" option aswell. That way it would show whether archived or not, aswell as having the option to filter more with the AND operand.
