I would like to submit a feature request to extend the Trash retention period in ClickUp.
Currently, deleted items are only available in Trash for a limited duration. For organizations managing large workspaces, this time frame is often insufficient to identify and recover accidental deletions.
Requested Enhancement:
Allow deleted items (Lists, Tasks, Folders, etc.) to remain in Trash for 90 days up to 1 year.
Provide admins/workspace owners the ability to restore or permanently delete items during this extended period.
(Optional) Make the retention duration configurable at the workspace level.
Business Use Case:
Accidental deletions are sometimes discovered weeks or months later.
Extended retention would improve data safety, audit readiness, and operational confidence.
This feature is especially valuable for Business Plus and large team workspaces with multiple contributors.
