I use ClickUp's Whiteboard feature regularly, and I would like to request an improvement regarding shortcut behavior.
Currently, shortcuts react excessively even while I am typing text in a node, which often results in unintended changes such as altering the node’s shape or color.
For example, while typing text into a node, a shortcut may unexpectedly trigger, interrupting my input and transforming the node into a different shape. This is frustrating and disrupts my workflow, significantly reducing efficiency.
To address this issue, I propose the following improvements:
  • Add a feature that allows users to toggle shortcuts on or off manually
  • Disable shortcut functionality specifically while typing inside a node
With these changes, users would be able to input text smoothly without unexpected interruptions.
ClickUp is an outstanding service that greatly enhances my daily productivity, and I truly appreciate the hard work of the development team. I hope you will consider implementing this improvement to make the Whiteboard feature even better.
