Exporting integrated table views in the Doc PDF export
Jack Grierson
We love the functionality that clickup has - creating integrated tables within documents (as it’s a single version of truth that updates seamlessly).
However, rather puzzlingly, and frustratingly, the docs have been designed so that when exporting a PDF – the table view embedded inside the document doesn’t export with the rest of the doc?
This needs to change as this defeats the purpose of putting an integrated document together to share externally (without inviting external client users into clickup). Appreciate this may be by design so you don't have multiple versions but we are using it for the integration feature. The purpose for us is to embed content to save us time. If we cannot export it – we might as well use Microsoft word (which we will now have to do – and move away from clickup centralised platform). Please could this be made an urgent suggested feature for clickup?
We don't have a work around that doesn’t include just screenshotting it or manually inputting the table data. This is a fundamental feature for us a company.
Many thanks.

This makes our communication to the customer a lot more time consuming, as the tables are not exported with the doc content.

I am adding my vote to this feature as well as it's crucial to me to be able to present to clients and cut down on work and consolidate platforms. I thought it was a paid feature as there's a button to export as PDF but I feel mislead that it's just a test. I really hope this is updated as it's would make a major difference in workflow and overall integration with team/clients.

I share these sentiments exactly. Our entire organization does not have the need for ClickUp, however being able to export a table embedded to share as a PDF would be a gamechanger and really help in the adoption of the tool.

I think there should also be a option to export original styling such as the cover image and other styles, it doesn't seem to be preserved.

YES - it is rather insanely frustrating to create a great looking doc, that automatically reflects the data in a board, list or table and yet not have any ability to then share this as a PDF.
It prevents us from sharing such useful information to clients. Similarly to the other comments, we will have to stick to using embed Google Sheets or Docs which kind of defeats the entire reason we went with ClickUp which was to consolidate and live, as much as possible, within that single platform environment.

Seconding this. For me, it's a blocking item for moving to the paid plan (I was going to use the forms to gather tasks and then export to PDF to list them). I'm surprised that this has never been implemented - it's core functionality of Notion and would make ClickUp a much better Notion competitor. Notion lacks the built-in flexible forms, so I'm surprised that ClickUp has let this missing feature hold it back from full functionality of the Doc system. If you are a task system that offers docs, but your docs don't allow you to print the tasks, what good is it? I'm frankly surprised that a) this wasn't part of the initial build and b) more people haven't complained of it.
