I’d like to request a new feature: the ability to download a Chat in the same convenient way we can currently download a Doc. This would be extremely helpful for record-keeping, sharing, and archiving team discussions directly from the platform.

Export chat conversations with other users in ClickUp.

I need a feature to export chat conversations with other users in ClickUp. For legal proceedings, chat conversations are considered valid evidence, but to create a "Notarial Act" that has legal standing, the chat needs to be exported in full. Judges often request official proof, and currently, ClickUp does not provide an efficient way to deliver this. The lack of an export function for chats makes it difficult to comply with these legal requirements.

Please add. Slack and other messaging platforms allow us to export chat messages under a certain plan. Feel free to put it past a paywall or a tier but give us the option.

I second what Sarah Crawford says! I use this for clients and would love to be able to export those notes to save.

Yes please! Chatting with clients in the chat widget is super important to a project and archiving those notes is just as important. I don't want to lose them when the dashboard is deleted.
