Exempt from Dashboard Filters

While I would LOVE for all cards to support dashboard filters, there is some times where we don't want a dashboard filter to apply to a specific card.
It would be great to add an option to ALL CARDS to be exempt from dashboard filters.
My example is "Status over time" card showing in a dashboard that shows this months completed projects totals, as well as different pie-charts showing this months current project status.
I don't want my status over time to look just at this month, I want this to continue to show for the entire year, and using dashboard filters messes with this card.
Hopefully others agree :)

Thanks Matt Langlois for the feedback. On dashboard filters our first goal is to ensure they apply to all cards and then based on your suggestion we can add customizations to which cards to exempt. Marking this open for and look fwd to more upvotes here
