Event Countdown Timer (Time left until next event/task)
Joe
I am much more productive when using a countdown timer because it gives me a sense of urgency to complete my current task before time is up. When I get distracted, I see/hear the timer ticking and redirect my focus back to where it should be.
I currently use a Mac app from the App Store along with stickies to accomplish an event countdown timer but would like to see this included as part of ClickUp. It would be a plus if this timer could also be a separate app that shows on top of all windows when my calendar is hidden. Playing ticking sounds or productive soundtracks like those found on brain.fm would also be very beneficial.

If they made this a field it could be added to the dashboard right? I think anyone wanting a countdown should vote on this---> https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/due-date-countdown

I believe countdown timers for tasks would be very beneficial. What's more, I would like the countdown timer to take the value from the Time Estimate field into account and begin with that value when starting the timer for the task.

I would like to add a vote for there to be a floating countdown as part of the mac desktop app, but in addition, it would be an absolute GAME CHANGER to be able to have a visual timer (pie chart style) for tasks in the mobile app.
I use ClickUp for both work and for personal time management and it would be amazingly helpful for my ADHD to be able to use ClickUp for basic routines to help with executive functioning with a visual timer to keep me on track.

I believe this would be super helpful as well, whether a 5 min countdown or 100 days countdown! And being able to put the countdown in a specific task OR just at the top of a list/space would be amazing

i would like to see this but have it imitate the pomodoro technique as well. I currently use pomodone and like that I am reminded to take breaks. Right now you can only start a timer in ClickUp and it doesn't automatically start the break timer. It would be nice also if the pomodone integration synced time tracked as I would like to use the widget in clickup without having to manually enter time into it.

I personally would love to see this! And I suggest a option of instead of hit 00:00 and stopping, it would start to go into the negatives (Ex. -05:39). To show that its overdue and how much actual time was spent to complete the task.
