Edit templates and see more about each template inside the template center!

I shouldn't have to create a task, apply a template, edit the task, then save the template.
I should be able to edit the template directly in the template centre, then close the template centre when finished.

When is this going to happen? It's a huge pain point and driving my teams away from ClickUp

I was about to request this too, but I noticed it has already been addressed.
Editing a template from the Template Centre could allow for updates to the templates in use. However, it would not affect those that have already been marked or completed, such as Checklists.
For instance, if a Checklist has been marked, it will remain unchanged even if an item is later removed from the template—it will still appear in the task.

I was going to ask for this now, but I saw that it had already been asked for.
This editing of the template from the Template Center could have the possibility of changing the templates already used, but it would not change those that have been marked or filled out, as in the case of Checklists, for example.
If a checklist is marked, it will not be changed, even if the item has been removed from the template, it will remain in the task.

This would be AMAZING. Editing a template without actually creating a list or affecting anything else should be an option.

This is very much needed, having just migrated from JIRA this is a real pitfall!

This is really a necessary feature for me!

So ClickUp! :) this is planned but do we have an ETA or advancement on this feature? Sure would like to have it soon.

Need to update the Template Center to atleast have a list view so we can view more templates in 1 screen and allow bulk selection of templates.

Beyond that i see that we should upgrade the template center to be a place where you control the company's way of doing things. Like a center of standard operating procedure.
Robert Hudman
This would make template management so much easier! :)
