I have the same issue.

I want to be able to edit comments created by an automation. I have automations that create comments with some context, lists or information after triggered that then cannot be edited. I manually have to copy and paste these comments and then edit them.

Agreed, our use case is when our tasks enter the QA status, automations post comments to tease additional information around the task.

We're unable to update / edit these comments - though this would remove a step for our team where they have to manually duplicate the comment, saving us a lot of time overall!
