Apologies if this has been asked already, I couldn't see it anywhere - we have monthly recurring tasks for about 60 lists. It would be amazing if we could have a dynamic field in the title of the tasks to represent the month. Eg. Monthly reporting [Month] (for the current month or Monthly reporting [Month -1] for the month prior, which would then display as Monthly reporting July, and so on. Thanks a bunch!

I would very much appreciate this feature. I feel like this is a 'basic' feature if you build recurring tasks and automations. Now I have to loop it through Zapier to do this. Clickup is not "the tool to replace them all" this way. Build these simple things that saves us a lot of time instead of esoteric stuff please

Tom Farrell Nothing new to share on this one. It would be an amazing feature to add, but the team is still working through a few others. If we do end up picking it up or at least looking more into it, we will make sure to post an update here.

ClickUp…. You’re working on dynamic dates and triggers for automations but not including simple variables in task names.. this request has been open way too long!

Our use case would have tasks duplicated at the end of each month (via due date trigger) and they would need to be named automatically as “Retainer - {month} {year}”

Same use case here: recurring monthly tasks are difficult to distinguish from each other. Could be solved by adding a %created_month% variable in the title.

Placeholders in task titles would take this to a completely different level in fact to add them across other areas would be a huge bonus

Would be great if we can create task names from form fields since it reduces a step where we need to manually create a naming convention for the task cards
Any updates on this?

I have a similar use case to Clifford Meyers below (merged by Brian Shen) and would like the task name to incorporate info from specified fields during a form submission.
