when i drag and drop a task on a new space - it should 'OPEN' that space and should show its Projects and Lists in left-hand pane - where i can drop the dragged content

Bug - Dragging Tasks

I have quite a few issues when dragging a task from one list to another.
1) half the time it doesn't actually move and just leaves the blue line showing where I was trying to move it.
2) IF it does "move"/appear in the new list, it's not actually moving, it's being added to the new list AND KEPT in the old one.
3) When I look at the task that is now erroneously in 2 lists and attempt to remove it from the old one by pressing the x on that list name, now all my lists only have that 1 task. all other tasks in all other lists disappear. luckily this isn't permanent and is fixed by a hard refresh but it sure gave me a heart attack the first time it happened
drag and drop is a super simple feature, idk why clickup makes it so complicated

YES! We need drag and drop.
One implementation option is to follow the UI design of Windows File Explorer where file can be moved easily between different folders.

YES!
in list view, when I drag a task from the main list to the list of spaces/folders on the left,
DESIRED - I want it to
- accordion open the space when I drag the task to it, showing the folders in the space;
- then accordion open folder to show the lists
- so I can drop the task in the list I desire.
CURRENTLY (5/29/2021)
in list view, when I drag a task from the main list to the list of spaces/folders on the left,
AFTER I have selected a space.
THEN when I drag a task over the folders, it opens up the list for each folder so I can drop it.
However, I must manually choose the space each time.

Yes agree this would be very useful, find myself wanting to drag-and-drop frequently!

Not sure what is so difficult in implementing the drag-and-drop for Move which is such basic functionality that even the beginner apps still have drag-and-drop support.
