Do Not Show Tasks Due Today as Overdue

It would be nice to have the option to turn this off. I don't like going to my home screen and seeing an overdue tasks alert for tasks that are not actually overdue, but due today. Even if the alert were changed to say Due Today it would be better. The overdue alert is panic/anxiety inducing.

Brent Evans: Thank you Brent. Is there a way to fix this in the Unscheduled/overdue panel as well? I do most of my calendar scheduling from there and seeing items from an hour earlier, that I did not get to, listed is very distracting. A preference option to turn this off would help a lot. Thank you

yes, this would help, because even if you close the task on the duedate it stills shows up as a task that was closed overdue.

I think the underlying reason is that when a task has a due date without a specific time, the software assumes the due time as being 12:00am. If the default/hidden time is switched to 11:59pm, then that would fix this problem of the task showing overdue.

Jason Godfrey: Unfortunately time doesn't seem to matter. I tried it already and there is still an overdue notice on the Home screen. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Just noticed that I'm also getting an overdue task alert for tasks starting today. Anyone else experience that? I would suggest that also be changed.

I absolutly agree and miss that a lot! Also in list view grouped by "due date" all the tasks disappear to early. I wished they where not automatically switched before evening or I could adjust that.
