Also I believe taskt ype will make more sense and have more usage if we can set up default template to a particular task type.
If my task type is just a book, there's no sense of having so many other things which come automatically to "Book" task type like asignee, priority, deadline lol

Task Type task template

Define a task template for a (custom) task type.

jens de rijcke , Beth Barbaglia, Ivan Villa is the plan for this something similar to what GitHub and GitLab do for issues?
I'm thinking of being able to provide a default task template that may have a predefined description to fill, like
- Context
- Problem / Motivation
- Steps to reproduce
- Actual result
- Expected result
- Proposed solution
for a Bug / Issue type. Smilar could be done for product definition, meetings, etc.
I think this would some somehow be possible using"Custom fields by task type", but in some cases it would fit better to prefill the description.
Or is this request about something very different? Would be nice to read more details about the idea here. Thanks :)

Hey Jens! (And everyone who has upvoted this.) We are actively thinking through this piece now. We see a lot of overlap between default task types and templates, and we would love to hear how everyone's ideal setup would be.
If you had a magic wand and could have this feature now, what task types and templates would you use? How would they work together? 🙂

Ivan Villa: I think if you combine the idea of the Template with the Task Type, that would be my ideal. For instance, rather than having to change a List's default Task Type to Event and then also having to set the List's default Task Template to Events, it seems like it would make more sense that if a List's Task Type was Events - the Event Task Type could have a template of its own by default so it's only one step of setting the default Task Type to Events. Hope that helps 😊
