This is desperately needed. And particularly galling given the default 'Personal list' doesn't even show up in Everything view!

This would be very useful - I work in the Everything view almost daily, and having to change the list each time I enter a new task is incredibly frustrating.:

Edit: this request has been open over 4 years (1460 days!). I guess that means it's not happening?

We always miss data since people don't pay attention to list and it's not easy to just pull it out, at least make it remember the last list that was used.

Yes, please do prioritize this feature. It is causing me to lose a few seconds every day, they are adding up :(
