For instance, show/hide the default icons, add a custom link with a custom icon, reorder the icons.

I can't rearrange my line items and I hate it its so messy

+1 for this one. I would like to reorder the icons on the sidebar based on my preferences. For example, having the 4 squares icon at the bottom to acces the different spaces do not make sense as these are the ones I use all the time. It should be at the top.

I'll throw in another idea for this request.
I just discovered Space Visibility. Super underrated feature, and I know how to make it 11,111 times better!
When I'm at work, I turn off my home Spaces. When I'm at home, allz I wanna see are my home Spaces so I turn them on, and the work ones off.
It would be nice though, if I could just set up Space "Galaxies" so in only a couple clicks (or taps) I see only the spaces I need wherever I am.
I could see how for instance, when a PM is
in
the office he might to see two, four, seven spaces, but when he's on the road maybe he only needs one. But when at home, might only need to see three. If we could create Galaxies™ it would really make Space visibility shine.

The case for a better, customizable sidebar experience:
- It's cleaner. Deb would like her folders to be alphabetized for her team. I would love it if one day I woke up and someone alphabetized my files for me.
- It's more productive. For some people with ADHD (me) seeing multiple folders can be distracting, whereas being able to hyper-focus on a single folder makes it easier to stay on task and will likely increase overall productivity. You can make this change and measure increase in overall productivity and then use the increase that will likely happen as a marketing tool.
- It's more inclusive. Making this update would offer more accessible work-styles and approaches for neurodiverse people. More fun, gamified project management for more types of people = a bigger target market! You'll also have a metric to actually measure your positive impact. So, you will also win good karma points for doing the right thing by making your product more accessible and you can add it to your ESG report / impact metrics at the end of the year to be a more sustainable company.
Being able to customize the folders would make the user experience more enjoyable and your product more valuable.
P.S. I would also love to be able to see tasks across workspaces.

I'm starting to use portfolio and have to click on the three dots and the bottom and then the portfolio icon, which is a bit annoying. I'd love to be able to choose what icons are shown and what are hidden in the three dots.

Can we customize which menu icons to appear on the sidebar menu? We do not use items like Portfolio, Goals and will like to move up Reports.

I would love to see a setting where you can make the view uniform for everyone who can see it. I have my spaces alphabetized and I would love if it would display that way for our whole team. Also with hiding spaces as well.

I personally would love the ability to customize it like we do with the Windows 10 taskbar. Esaier to find what we need.

Actually, I'm not sure whether to vote for this or not. I'm pretty sick of having the toolbars turn on and off, change position, change name, or change to indesipherable icons every month or two. LEAVE IT ALONE! What is wrong with having pull down menus? Just give people an option to put it on top or on the side and let's move on!
