Custom Task ID numbering scheme per project
complete

It's nice (mainly for programmers) to have numeric, monotonic task id/numbers. So if branch name on GIT starts with task id prefix it's easy to see which one is never or very old. Jira has it ;)

oh man, I was trying to set this up but to no avail. Why is custom task ID not available to all plans.
Simon Deutsch
This really should be available at least for the UNLIMITED, maybe even free Tier. Any company working with Clickup requires this feature

Extreamly required... for all product companies

Agree with Kimberli Kelmor - this is not complete. It is only per space, it needs to be customizable at the list level.

This is not complete. The Custom Task ID, to be useful at all, has to be able to be configured at the folder and list level as well. The LIST is the default level for projects, and I need to set the prefix and sequential number. At the space level, it can't be used for Git or Bitbucket at all. This has been requested by many for many years, but each new request thread either gets marked as complete, or closed for inactivity. This is critical!

Custom Task IDs on list and folder level are essential to use ClickUp as an actual development tool for scrum.
We have a space "Development" where many projects and products live in. All with their own epics and tasks.
We need project- and product-specific task ids, as they are an essential part of our communication between developers and to align with GitHub etc.
Currently, we can only do this by creating a space for every project and product. Not a good solution.
Please make Custom Task IDs available on a more fine-granular level.

Would be nice if SORT was enabled on the column (basic function)

Custom Task ID is not of much use on the space level. Would you please make it available on the list level?

Ismael Mendoza: I agree!
