Custom Dashboard Chart Colors

It would be great to be able to change the colors of the graphs in the Dashboard view. I have a standard color scheme for To Do, in Progress, and Done statues. Now I'm thinking about changing those colors to match the graphs for consistency.

Yes, colors are randomly choosen in dashboards and so it is very hard distiguish bar charts sometimes

Yes, please! I had a coworker ask me to show her some ways to use Dashboards and I'm inclined to recommend she just use Excel instead since it is hard to read the charts at a glance. Customized colors and a few more options on how to display legends would go a long way!

crazy.. 5 years in and this isn't even being considered..

I found a workaround - at least for charts that are grouping data by a custom field - If you change the colors of the options when editing the custom field, those colors that you choose will show up on the chart in the dashboard. It would be awesome to be able to customize, but this at least made it so that charts comparing data across quarters had consistent colors when comparing the same value.

When I create a pie chart there isn't enough contrast between the colors to ensure that it is 508 or ADA compliant. I would love to be able to change colors on all dashboard features, especially pie charts.

For our business this need appears first in bar graphs in dashboards, but it can be extended to other functionalities

This would be incredibly important
Especially because if I use TAGs in the chart, the column colors there and the already DEFINED tag colors don't match either.. which is very confusing

Any updates here? I need to show data within a date range and grouping by month makes all of my data the exact same color which isn't a great visual experience.

This would be huge as the line graphs are not usable for quick visualization as the colors are not distinguishable
