You can show or hide Custom Fields from guests in the Custom Field settings!

Eric Wightman: I see you can access the visibility for guests settings from task view by clicking "+ Add or edit fields", but please also show that setting when editing individual custom field columns in list view (or any other view). Right now it's not available there

Eric Wightman: Closed? That is not a solution! The solution would be to be able to choose which person specifically can see the column, exactly as Monday.com has done for a long time.

Eric Wightman: How do I hide specific fields from some full members of a space?

Eric Wightman: your solution doesn't solve the original problem. Is it possible to control the visibility of custom fields for each user?

In terms of customization, it would also be great to be able to shade custom columns differently. I would like to be able to see a block of fields related to "promotion" and a different block (coloured a different colour) for fields related to "post event activities". This type of column colouring is used a lot by folks working in Excel, and I think it would be helpful to be able to visually group blocks of custom fields the same way in a task list.

We strongly request this feature. This is a vital and valuable feature we need and would be efficient based on the user team they are assigned to control the visibility of the information in a custom.

I hope the Cu will pay attention to this suggestion

When is this planned to roll out? This is crucial for us, otherwise we need to have duplicate tables to show some info for one people and some info to others and it's just duplicate work on both tables. Being able to hide specific columns is something crucial to only be able to work with one list and add members and clients to the same list, while still keeping certain information private only to members/admins and hidden from clients.
Mario Gonzalez
Same here but for different reasons. Would be nice to make some sub-tasks private too.
Doug Rutter
Yes this is very necessary. We can do it now for guests, but not for members, which we need to be able to do.

From client: Please find me a way to put all of my notes in a column so that I can see them in the column all at once just like the other list views.
