As someone thinking of moving to ClickUP from Trello this is the first off-putting thing you notice. Yes, a bunch of options but extremely boring design. And with all the complexity and functionality it offers you think "oh should we really move to these emptiness".

Please implement this!

Looking at the 3.0 release page, I noticed a custom background image and customize options in one of the gifs. I immediately upgraded to learn that is not apparently something I can actually do :( Why tease? That's just mean.

please please please add the ability to color panels on the dashboard

Yes, yes, 1000 times yes. I love the Gantt view, and lots of things about ClickUp but it all blends together.....

I also come from Trello and really miss being able to have a colored background. Its much harder to look at the tasks because they dont stand out from the background. I made a custom background before with a motivational quote for myself to remember throughout the day which was a nice touch when i was looking at all my tasks.

As a Virtual Assistant Agency, we setup our clients on their own ClickUp if they don't have a project management tool already... and I have a few very visual clients who much prefer Trello to ClickUp because of the nice and visual backgrounds that they can have. It's infuriating as I wish something so simple was available in ClickUp! Thank you for considering it. You'd get a lot more customers if this was the case :)

Without contrasting colors behind the tasks/lists (in board view) it makes it very hard to see. Especially when you have a lot of tasks. Even if the only new option was a light grey background - it would be perfection compared to what it is right now (white on white).
