I recently worked with ClickUp Support while building a centralized command center workspace (krs2 Command Center) used to manage family, education, business operations, volunteer leadership, guardianship services, Board of Education responsibilities, and Boy Scouts of America administration.
My workspace architecture includes 10 Spaces, 80+ Folders, and 100+ Lists. During implementation, I identified several limitations that significantly increase build time and manual maintenance.
Feature Requests:
  1. Allow ClickUp Brain and AI Agents to create, rename, and organize Spaces and Folders.
Currently Brain can create lists, tasks, and docs, but not the structural components of a workspace. Building large architectures requires extensive manual setup before AI can help.
  1. Add privacy inheritance and privacy controls for AI-created Lists.
When Brain creates lists inside private spaces and folders, the new lists do not inherit privacy settings. In my case, Brain correctly created 66 lists, but every list required manual privacy correction afterward. This creates unnecessary work and potential security concerns.
  1. Allow Brain to set privacy, permissions, and sharing settings during list creation.
AI should be able to create private lists and apply security settings as directed.
  1. Add an option to disable automatic creation of the default "List" when creating a Space or Folder.
Users building large systems must repeatedly rename or delete unwanted default lists.
  1. Add workspace-level defaults for privacy, status templates, ClickApps, views, and naming standards.
This would greatly improve consistency and governance in larger implementations.
  1. Expand Brain's administrative capabilities.
Brain should be able to rename lists, update list settings, create dashboards, create automations, create custom fields, create agents, and manage workspace architecture.
Context:
Workspace: krs2 Command Center
Use Case: Single-user command center
Scale: 10 Spaces, 80+ Folders, 100+ Lists
Content: Family, legal, financial, educational, and medical information
Privacy-by-default is essential. These enhancements would significantly improve onboarding, security, scalability, and the usefulness of ClickUp Brain for advanced users.
