Create clickup events without google or outlook

Some users have said they wish they didn't have to connect Google or Outlook to use ClickUp calendar to create events, timeblocks, etc.

I try and de-Google as much as possible. I also think it's not a great idea to rely on another platform to make a core feature of ClickUp work, because, what if that core platform stops working, changes how they work, or removes features?
Also, QOL issues between the two - they don't always sync, or sync quickly, sometimes there are bugs between the two where Tasks get doubled-up in Google, calendar colours aren't the same and can't be attached to custom fields (because they are Google colours), etc etc etc.
Any attachment to Google and Outlook should be entirely optional.
