I’d like the ability to control where the “Add Task” button appears when grouping in ClickUp. Right now, if you group by Status, Assignee, Tag, Task Type, or certain Custom Fields, the “Add Task” button shows up in every group or column—no matter the view.
This causes problems in workflows where new tasks should only be created in one specific group (like the first status for idea submissions). The current setup lets people add tasks anywhere, which leads to clutter and mistakes.
Please add an option to hide the “Add Task” button for specific groups or columns, regardless of how tasks are grouped. This would keep boards and lists cleaner and help prevent tasks from being created in the wrong place.
