Color tasks in Board View by Status

We would like the option to lightly fill the cards in board views the same color as the status color.

I used to use rectangular sticky notes in a kanban style to keep track of tasks analog.
Agreed here, would love the option to toggle on card background color for each status color..

Great idea! We would like that too.
Also, the background of past due tasks on Kanban view potentially be red so it can be a visual emphasis on them.
