Another vote for versioning and a true approval process.
As in I upload a document and set it for approval, assign approvers and they can comment as they do now, but when they're finished they click APPROVE, REJECTED, or APPROVED WITH CHANGES.
And then when I upload another version it doesn't act as just another uploaded file, it's a version 2.
This is really the only major thing Clickup is missing. If you have this then you truly compete with similar software like Wrike and pageproof.

As a designer, I believe it would be beneficial to have the ability for users to annotate designs with version control. This would allow for easier collaboration and feedback between team members and clients.
Additionally, it would be helpful to have the option for users to sign off on final designs. This would ensure that everyone involved in the project is in agreement and that the design is ready for implementation.
Overall, these features would streamline the design process and improve communication within the team.

This is the main feature I’m hoping to see added. It would solve several pain points for my design team and our organization as a whole.

just to add, user can upload documents very similar to docusign but with lesser features. [upload docs, assign signatories, check if requires order]. :) thanks.

Basecamp does this through an email request with a YES/NO option.
Honestly, it could be done much better than how Basecamp does it. But they do keep it easy by allowing you to simply email your client, requesting the yes or no for approval.
One way or another, having the ability to ask a client for a clear approval on a deliverable is very important for digital agencies and presumably other companies who need this sort of feedback from their clients.
