Click and Drag Dependency Mapping
Jaimie Rodd
Current dependency mapping in task view is very tedious, would be great to do something like click and drag to be able to do this really quickly

Our Gantt view provides that capability. Would that work for you?

Bugra Oktay I'd like to do this in a list, sometimes you know the dependencies but not the dates yet

Justine Dechaine Understood. Even though we don't have drag and drop in lists, we are making it easier to set dependencies there. You should see improvements in the upcoming weeks.

I agree! Along with this idea, I have some recurring tasks, so when I add relationships, I have to be very careful to chose the task from the correct list. If I could filter the tasks first, then use this click and drag idea, it would be ideal

Would like to upvote this! You can do this in Gantt view but sometimes you know the dependencies without knowing all the dates and task without due dates don't show up in Gantt. Would be great to be able to drag n' drop those dependency arrows on a mind map or something, with dates unknown.
