Clean up widgets that embed a ClickUp view / Option to remove elements from ClickUp embed widgets
Guy Mannerings
Currently, widgets where you embed a ClickUp view are quite messy from having superfluous information.
They show the Location as well all the Views where you can choose a different one.
These items are superfluous to needs and add 2 extra vertical levels, taking up unnecessary space, and also adding visual distraction.
If I have chosen to embed a ClickUp URL, I don't need to be told the Location and I don't need to be able to to change the View. - I have chosen that URL because that is the View I want.
I don't mind seeing the filter options, but I could also see why people might not want them.
I can see a world in which people would want to change Views or see the Location, though.
So I suggest we get an option in the embed settings where, for ClickUp embeds, we can choose to strip items we don't want - like the location, other views, filters, etc.
This is related to the same problem when embedding ClickUp views in Docs - https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/when-embedding-a-clickup-view-inside-of-clickup-strip-the-sidebar-top-bars-and-b

It's worth noting - for some reason, Dashboard widgets handle this better than Overview widgets.
E.g., embedding a Doc page in a Dashboard widget just shows the Doc and sidebar, but embedding it in an Overview widget also shows the View selector and the location - adding 2 extra lines to the vertical height, and extra distraction.

Dean Phillips Just wondering if you were aware of this discrepancy between Overviews and Dashboard embed widgets, and if the Overviews one could be cleaned up like the Dashboards one?
