It would be nice to have a chat view option on the left area (near dashboard view, pages view, etc) that when you click on it, it only shows chats in each space.
And if someone mentions you in a chat, that button would have a little red notification that would appear in that button's corner (much like the notification center).
Also, if a space has a chat notification, it would be nice to see that in the individual spaces. A noise would be very helpful as well.

That might make it worth our while. As it stands the chat takes too many clicks from anywhere so we abandoned it

Agreed, I am also missing this option, but I would also prefer the chat to be on all spaces, list, etc, something more general

Yes, i want this feature too. A direct messaging feature with a real strong attentional Sound or something would be great. Our team loves clickup. But if you have to communicate agile, Clickup handling with messaging is poor so far.
