🗣️Channel Info on Hover (Can we Please Have it?)
Jason Joseph
I'd like to see on Desktop:
Channel Info
When you hover over a channel, that channels description and number of team members show up, perhaps with the 6 most recent, OR the 6 people you interact with indicated as in that channel as well. It may be nice to let that be an option...most recent or people I frequently interact with.
And on Mobile, have the same thing available as an ℹ️ button on the right of each channel.
This would drive user use up and greatly improve ones ability to understand what is presented to them.
🏁VOTE FOR THIS...you know it's cool.🏁

A useful feature would be showing channel details on hover, including the channel description and total team members. It could also display the six most recent members or the six people you interact with most in that channel. Making this selectable as an option would give users more flexibility and better visibility.

Mr Simon you literally regurgitated exactly what I said. And yet you didnt even bother to vote for it.
(Can some of the people who work at ClickUp please start to better inform people how to use this forum? I've seen things like this now several times, as well as people show up to simply toss in comments that are combative or negative and bring nothing of value to the table, and it all goes without reprimand. It isn't fostering a good environment to allow such behavior.)

Hey Jason Joseph! Are you suggesting this card on hover like in the Home sidebar, or when someone @mentions the name of a Channel within a comment/message?
Jason Joseph
Brendan W hi. I'd initially had it in mind for the sidebar. As a means to better inform and foster a more communicative workforce. I do think it would be valuable if it were also able to show the info when a channel is mentioend as well. On desktop on hover perhaps being easy to impliment but if it cant be recreated in mobile I'd say perhaps then to forgo it showing info except for in the side bar, so as to maintain system consistency across devices.
Maybe a force touch could pop it open though when on mobile...
