It's inexplicable to me why this was programmed to default to seconds when typing a number. I'm no programmer, but how hard can this be to set to hours instead of seconds? Please, please fix this.

I would be surprised if the vast majority of users have ever actually intended to enter an estimated task duration in seconds. Minutes seem more reasonable as the minimum unit assumption, but we use hours or fractions of hours because we use this field to store estimated durations, not precise limits or requirements. I'm curious what the majority of users actually enter in this field.

For us though it would make more sense for the default to be hours.

I'd imagine one solution for this is to add an option to set the assumed time units globally with an override option at each level- space, folder, list.

Giving some more detail here:

If I want to type in, for example, "15 minutes", I start typing "15..." and it defaults to "15 seconds". It would be much more logical to default to "minutes".
