Centralized Timesheet View W/ Multiple View Options
in progress
Kevin May
Logging time by opening every task individually is a huge burden and can be extremely hard to spot mistakes. Please consider adding a weekly "Timesheet" that can list all tasks "charged" during that period and hours can be added/modified/deleted from a single view. Thanks!

For those of you at Clickup working on the new timesheet view: Please try to integrate a filter, with which you can track down UNASSIGNED time entries and assign them to a task afterwards. Currently this is not possible, you always have to search for them at the end of the expanded task list in the time dashboards. Unassigned time trackings are one of our biggest problems.
Anthony Creek
Andreas Otto: We've got you covered! All unattached time entries are under a single row on the timesheet named, "No Task Selected". You can expand that task to see the individual entries and you can move them to a task from the options menu. They are also listed on the all entries view and can be moved to a task from there as well. So no filter required, just direct support!

Andreas Otto
Anthony Creek: Looks good. I think it's ready to get rolled out. Tomorrow? :-)))))
Anthony Creek
Andreas Otto: Ha! Not quite, but we are definitely getting there. We're currently testing internally and iterating based on the feedback coming in. We'll do the public beta next and then the full launch so not long now!

Raymon ClickUp
Can we set time frame for a report to Dynamic Data Range? Like 15th Last Month to 15th This Month? It is super useful for people like our team who use different calendar.
Anthony Creek
Raymon ClickUp: Timesheets are one week at a time only so you don't select a date range, just the week you want to view. Default is the current week and you can navigate to previous weeks via the calendar or the arrow keys.
R
Raymon ClickUp
Anthony Creek: Why should timesheet only be one week not custom date range? :-O We cannot have monthly timesheet or quarterly timesheet for example??
Anthony Creek
Raymon ClickUp: The timesheet is for entering time, not reporting on it. For timesheets in general, weekly is the most common timeframe used so we are sticking with that. For reviewing time entries over longer time periods, you'll want to use the dashboard cards. We've got a number of updates coming to those as well in future projects.

baseline sec
Anthony Creek - I signed up for the form a few times now and haven't gained access to the dash. This is honestly my biggest pain point of clickup and I am a super mega power user so I'm still using a 3rd party integration for time sheet tracking and I would absolutely triple quadruple recommend clickup to everyone if this issue (the reporting of the time within the clickup native app) is as good as the basic time tracking reporting apps like toggl. Please add me to this internal demo dash and I would love to give feedback. I'm even happy to hop on a call and discuss with you all and serve as customer feedback but even give free Product Manager SME advice ;)
+10000 to this feature
Anthony Creek
baseline sec: The public beta hasn't begun yet, but will this month and we aim to give everyone who has signed up access quickly. We've got a bug/feedback form that we'll post as well so we can collect everyone's thoughts and quickly iterate on the timesheet to ensure we have a fantastic product.

Anthony Creek: SGTM. Any idea what day I can expect the public beta to start? I'll be marking my calendar :-) Thanks...
Anthony Creek
baseline sec: No specific day set at this point. We are testing internally currently and still adding some functionality/improvements.
b
baseline sec
Anthony Creek: Sounds good - I think you mentioned public beta would start at the end of this month - is that still on track?
Anthony Creek
baseline sec: Right now I'm thinking it will remain in internal beta for another two weeks and then we'll start the public beta. We'll see how things shape up next week though.
Courtney Rogers
I would really like to sign up for early access of this feature. The form is not responding, are we still able to submit?

Anthony Creek
Courtney Rogers: Form is working - still getting sign ups daily. Might have been a temporary issue, please give it another try if you haven't yet. Thanks.

James Guitard
Can you provide more info on how time-tracking integrations with 3rd party tools in the App Center (like Harvest, for example) will work in this new timesheet?
Anthony Creek
James Guitard: All time entries in ClickUp flow through to the timesheet. It doesn't matter if they are created via the web/desktop app, mobile app, browser extension, or via a third-party integration.

Ciara Brewer
Is there an eta on launch for this feature yet? It would save our team a TON of time spent on time entry
Anthony Creek
Ciara Brewer: Nothing firm, but we are currently planning the public beta for late September and we'll start rolling out to everyone in batches in October and finish up early November.
Anthony Creek
Carlo You can follow the progress on our timesheet here. As follow up projects, we'll be adding a team timesheet view as well as a calendar view. I think that calendar view is what you are asking for here, right?
Anthony Creek
Merged in a post:
Improve time entry possibilities through single interface
Carlo
I'd like to get in touch with someone of ClickUp's development team, to require a custom functionality, if possible
I would like to give our users access to a single interface from which they should be able to add a timesheet (based on time entries) from calendar, accessing only the folders/list/task shared with them.
I think that this would be a DISRUPTIVE simplification on our timesheet needs, and that it could be useful as a global update, later on , for ClickUp compared to other competitors

Anthony Creek: Hi Anthony
I think this field shouldn't be required in the form, according to the last sentence of the second paragraph.
"Otherwise, the timesheet will be enabled for you individually."

Anthony Creek
Daniel Urbano: Yes, thanks! Fixed.
Vincent Cardinal
Anthony Creek: Signed up !

Anthony Creek: form is not working

Anthony Creek: Hi Anthony! any news on when this feature will be available for beta users?
Anthony Creek
Sebastian Contreras: Nothing firm, but tentatively planning the week of September 25.

Julia Celley
Anthony Creek: Hi, Anthony! Any update on when this will be available for those of us who filled out the form? Please advise & thanks again!
Anthony Creek
Julia Celley: The timesheet is currently being tested and we are iterating on it. Should be able to start letting larger groups in for testing in production the week of Oct 9. I'll post a full update here when that next milestone happens!
J
Julia Celley
Anthony Creek: Thank you for the update, Anthony! We're excited to test it out!

another thing,
could we add a view to see time tracking ty hours of the day
in a table with the columns as the days and the rows as the hours (like a calendar), and the time entries as the values. the same as a meeting will show from 14:00 till 15:00)
this way its really visible if i reported my whole workday or not
thanks!
Anthony Creek
Efrat Wiesner: We are interested in adding a calendar view in the future.
