The Problem / Use Case:

Currently, we want to measure our progress and see the exact completion percentage of tasks in Goals, but filtered by a specific Custom Field (e.g., a Dropdown field categorizing the tasks). Additionally, we need to apply a specific date range (e.g., "current year" or "previous year") to see performance across specific timeframes.

Current Limitation:

As confirmed by ClickUp Support, Goals currently only track progress based on standard linked tasks, Lists, or numerical targets. They cannot dynamically calculate completion percentages using Custom Field filters, nor can we apply a specific date range within the Goal itself.

Why we need it:

This feature is crucial for advanced optimization and reporting. Being able to cross-reference Custom Fields with Date Ranges directly inside Goals would allow for highly precise performance tracking across different categories and timeframes, eliminating the need for manual calculations or complex dashboard workarounds.
