Add Burndown charts for reporting to help with Agile planning and to determine team velocity
I'd like to have a burndown Chart view for each list. Would be very useful for all scrummies =)
@Ivan Villa: Great! Thanks for taking that! Please use a new remaining hours field since for Agile it doesn't care much about time spent but cares more about remaining and trending. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=502ILHjX9EE minute 12 gives a perfect overview of what would be a star feature!
The Asana faction is using this missing capability (burndown charts) in ClickUp to make significant inroads in my organization. The missed release of this capability from a year ago, followed by the missed release in 1Q19, is looming huge as well. If you don't hear from me again, you'll now know why...
Hi @Lars Richter
Do you create burndown charts externally to click-up using data exported from click-up? I'm going down that road, would be good to hear how you have done it if you have tried?
@Alan Ballany: right now I'm using the portfolio-function for a overview. But that's only a kind of workaround...
+1 to this because I'm switching over to Pivotal Tracker due to the lack of this feature in ClickUp (which, sadly, looks so much better).
Burndown charts, w.r.t. both scrum/story points and time estimates are very much required. Looking forward to these in the next release.
I find this the only Report worth using on an Agile organization. Looking forward to see it soon, although still not marked as planned. Together with points estimates will be fantastic.
Just wanted to +1 this and say that for my use, this is nearly mandatory. I have figured out how to port over just about everything else to switch my whole team over to click up, but without the ability to do this kind of reporting (especially based on scrum points, not hours), I will be unable to move over. Thanks!
It's now November and this feature still isn't implemented. It's also not listed on the roadmap. When can we expect this feature?
@Peter Henry: We've reprioritized some things to make room for some larger set of a features. We currently have Reporting v2 scheduled for the first month of 2019. Sorry for the delays :(
@Zeb: Did I miss this as a feature release? I can't find burndown charts in reporting (and I'm not on the free plan)
