Bulk unassign individuals

It's currently only possible to bulk unassign everyone from a task using the action bar instead of bulk unassigning individual people. Please implement a way of doing this (maybe a toggle to switch between bulk assigning/unassigning instead of just one 'Unassign' button)

Hi Raina Ahuja.
In my case, the problem is with the followers, rather than the assigned ones.
I remove myself by clicking the (x), but after a few minutes, I remain as a "follower" of the task(s).
Every day I receive over 100 notifications for tasks I'm not involved in because I can't remove them.

Alex Nascimento: Got it, I missed "followers" in your previous message and misunderstood - sorry about that!
Following up on what you shared below:
"Since I create the task base, my user is automatically assigned to the tasks (I don't want to remove it in the settings)"
So I understand this better, are you running an automation to auto-assign you to the tasks? I'm curious if this might be getting in the way of the follower/unfollow logic.

I don't think so.
I don't have any automation like that.
When I contacted ClickUP Support at the time, they were able to replicate the problem on their end, but it still hasn't been resolved.

Alex Nascimento: Okay thanks for confirming! If you don't mind submitting another support ticket for this issue as I don't see any open tasks related to the followers, and let me know here so I can follow up!

CLK-926963 - Bulk Action Toolbar | Removing Follower from task not working

Alex Nascimento: Thank you! I tracked it down, looks like a fix for this went out Jan 20th. Can you please retry and share a screen recording of the end to end flow if you're still able to reproduce the issue? This will help our team troubleshoot further.

Hi Raina Ahuja,
The option to unassign individual followers doesn't work correctly.
Since I create the task base, my user is automatically assigned to the tasks (I don't want to remove it in the settings), and when I try to unassign my user through the Action Bar, I never succeed. It's a bug in ClickUp, and I've reported it for months and they haven't fixed it. I believe Rob Davies is experiencing the same problem.

Alex Nascimento: Thanks for the details! It sounds like for the case where your user is automatically assigned to tasks, there still may be something off. Otherwise, I do now see current assignees displayed with selecting multiple tasks (see screenshot), based on what was reported in one of your support tickets. Can you give it another try to see if there's still an issue with unassigning your own users, and I can have the team take a look if so?
Raina Ahuja
Rob Davies FYI this is now supported! You can navigate to any task, bulk select the tasks you want to unassign individuals from, and then click on the "X" for that individual. Let us know how this works for you!

Rob Davies Thanks for flagging this! We can definitely work on improving the UX here, but if you've bulk selected multiple tasks, and then you select the individual in the assignee dropdown and then deselect them, it should only unassign that individual. I'll share this feedback to the team.

Yisroel Falkowitz This is now supported! Please take a look at my note above in case you have any questions around how this works.
