Managing large documents with dozens of subpages is a daily reality for our marketing team. We use Docs as playbooks, meeting logs, and knowledge bases, and they naturally grow to 30-50+ subpages over time. The problem is that there's no way to perform bulk actions on subpages. If I need to archive, delete, or move a batch of outdated subpages to another Doc, I have to do it one by one, clicking through the same menu repeatedly. For a 40-page playbook cleanup, that's 40 individual right-click-and-confirm cycles.
This becomes especially painful during project handoffs or quarterly cleanups when we restructure documentation. I might need to split a Doc into two, moving half the subpages to a new Doc, or bulk-delete all meeting notes older than a certain date. Without multi-select on subpages, what should be a 30-second operation turns into 10 minutes of repetitive clicking. Basic bulk actions like select multiple subpages, delete, move to another Doc, duplicate, or reorder as a group would make Docs significantly more usable for teams managing living documents at scale.
