Just wanted to add my voice to others. I like the new layout but seeing all the date and assignee changes makes it hard to check comments and replies from people. Can we get more options to customize?

You also can't adjust the size of photos in comments anymore which is detrimental!!!

Considering how many different ways people use the comments & activity threads, the ability to set personal preferences around their display would be great.

Options would include:

combined or separate tabs

default collapsed or default open

filtering capability within comments (with ability to set a default so you don't have to filter every convo)

Fully agree with this - this new update is not helping - it makes the view look more distorted and hard to follow through. Please revert back to previous version - providing a clean focused view.

I could not agree with this more, thank you very much for submitting this. My ClickUp view just updated to this in the middle of my workday, and I can already tell it is also going to negatively affect our workflow. An option for combining Comments and Activity back together is basically crucial for us.

I also agree with other comments on this thread that the new "Chat-like" comment view makes it much more difficult to read and navigate comment history. Depending on the project, we sometimes have quite complicated and frequent back-and-forth conversations in this area, long and detailed comments pertaining to action items, and/or updates/notes that we leave on tasks for future reference. All of this is quite a bit harder to accurately view in the new format, thanks to the less clear distinctions between comments, especially comments by the same person. I would really appreciate a way to toggle between "Chat" and classic "Comment" style.

As other have mentioned, please restore the previous comments layout or at least give users the option to switch back.

The new layout is difficult to read, comments blend together, and following conversations has become much harder. My team and I strongly prefer comments to be in their own blocks to show clear separation of them.

This change to the UI impacts my workflow and I would like the old view as an option. It's important for me to see activity and comments in the same context, and now I have to navigate between two panes for that information, adding friction and taking more time.

I hated clickup before the update. I really didn't think I could hate it more. You all exceeded my expectations.
