Automations: Custom attachment field limitations

Automations on attachment custom fields are extremely limited. The only available trigger is 'from' and 'to' a defined file - in what circumstance is a user ever going to use that? To start with, an 'is uploaded/set' trigger would make it usable so we could automate eg. Trigger: a file being uploaded -> Action: File is saved to Google Drive through the integration.

Yeah, the "from file X to file Y" trigger for attachment fields basically never fires in real workflows. "Is uploaded/set" is the obvious gap, and the Google Drive use case is exactly what you'd expect people to automate immediately if it existed. This actually connects to a broader request with nearly 1,000 votes for making dynamic field options available across automation triggers and actions — expanding what can fire and what can be referenced is the bigger picture here.

Zach - ClickUp Great to hear! At the moment there's a real difficulty integrating ClickUp with a proper Google Workspace shared drive - can't upload from ClickUp automations, and can't use something like Zapier due to Private Attachments (which we aren't willing to switch off, because security)
