Automations: Allow for multiple actions of the same type
closed
Jonathan Leung
When my first action is set to "Set custom field", I no longer have the option to set my second option to "Set custom field". I should be able to create multiple actions that set different custom fields.

I love the Automations, but my clients refuse to do things exactly the same. For example; Some are receiving docu-signs and others will stop by to sign. What they choose tells us what our next action next action will be. It would be nice to have an automation that has choices, similar to a flow chart type of thing. It would be great to be able to automate everything, so after each task is done it can change tp the next step

Especially for GitHub, it's a pain to have to make a single automation to change a task status when a PR is opened (for example), and duplicate that for every single repository we work on! I wish we could just say "for repositories X, Y, Z, when a PR is opened, set status to In Progress." It would save us so much time. Right now, this is really tedious, especially since we can't duplicate automations.

There would be fewer automations in the list if the automations were more powerful. If I have a label field with 5 labels and I want the automation to trigger when one specific label is selected (the other labels are irrelevant for this automation), I have to create an automation for each permutations of the labels since it will not trigger unless all of the labels in the automation are present. There are 120 possible permutations of these five labels. I should not have to create multiple automations to accomplish this simple task.
