Dynamic/Relative Dates for Automations (ex: 7 days before due date)

- "7 days before the start date..."
- "Each Monday..."
- When ANY date changes to ANY date
- Use Date custom fields as automation triggers
- Be able to use Automations to change items such as Due Dates using relative dates, I.E. "Next Monday"
- "When a task becomes overdue I can then set it to 'Done'"
- Etc.

We are trying to set up an automation where we can set the due date of a subtask to be X days before the due date of the parent task.
Also, it would be helpful if we could create automations that are connected to integrations where campaigns can be created/sent out when automations/due-dates arrive.

It's possible to create an automation on a custom field if its status changes.
But if the custom field is a date, it would be awesome to use date functions on the automation trigger, like : "If custom date is in 30 days then create a task"

ya this is huge for us, we need a custom field date "when custom date arrives" automation, as well as the ability to have tasks created once a due date is within 30 days. Has to be a custom field so it doesnt block up people's homepages/to do lists

Not sure if I'm onto something ... I have a custom field with a date that is set at creation (DD - due diligence deadline). I want a reminder sent to my email 7 days before that due date to follow up with the team. The below setup looks like it will do exactly that?!
However not sure if I'll then get reminded every day from those 7 days (I hope not).

I need to send email triggers 7 days before a due date to remind my team to follow up on tasks. This is the whole reason I got Clickup automations in the first place.

Also a trigger for 'When custom date is set' as I can't personally see any use case for setting an automation for when a custom date field is set to a particular date (which is currently the only function of this trigger)

Example: We are tracking payments to clients on ClickUp, and when our accounts person fills a date for our custom date field 'Date Paid', we want the status to be able to move automatically from 'Awaiting Payment' to 'Paid'
