Automation to apply list template
A
Adam Foot
The ability to apply a list template via automation.
e.g. a "project" (task) is created in a projects overview list. The automation would then apply a list template for that project. Being able to also use the "project" (task) name as the list name automatically would great.

Currently we can apply a task template directly through automation when a new task is created, we would like to have same kind of functionality for the list. I think its going to help most of the people who is setting up there business model in form of list category.

Everytime I have an AH-HA! moment for an automation idea, I run to ClickUp to try and build it and realize immediately that clearly no one inside of ClickUp has ever considered so many of the bare minimum features for the automation system. This is one of those things. It's actually surprising to me that you can't create a list from template in automations. You can create and task and apply a template, but not with Lists.
Crazy!

Hi there,
we are thining about automation like this one:
For example: we create a Tasks in one list ex. Work and later we add a custom field in it "Type" (Type: websites, e-commerce etc.) and for example, we choose Type: "e-commerce" then it automatically creates a list in another Space (ex. e-commerce) with a default template (e-commerce).

Krzysiek This is the exact same use case I need.
