Automatically schedule tasks in Gantt view

Imagine being able to add a bunch of tasks into a list, set a dependency chain on all tasks, and say all of these tasks need to be complete by a certain milestone, then have the Gantt Chart automatically schedule all these tasks in order leading to the milestone. Bonus points for being able to set custom durations for each task ahead of time. If this were created, for me it would be the single most useful feature Clickup would have.

Yeah, I would want a system similar to the offered by LiquidPlanner and Planless project management tools

Considering reverting to Microsoft Project just for this feature. Please do this feature request.

also, when switching to Gantt chart, the order in list view vanishes. The tasks appear in a random order. Making it even harder to use

An auto calculate start and end date fields would solve the issue.

Right now, we have a major issue with ClickUp - we plan in the list view, assign time estimates but cannot answer simple questions such as "when will this task be done by?"
We urgently need a way to see list view items in the Gantt chart automatically given a duration based on the time estimates in list view.
So, lets say a task is 48hours time estimate. We need to be able to say average working hours for a developer is e.g. 8h but productivity rate (e.g. due to bugs, downtime) is say 60%) . Then work out the number of days based on that.
Without this, the current way of having to re add all the time estimates to gantt is so painful, we don't even bother.
